Introducation

My name is Sheyenne Meister-Farwell, I am 30 year old mother of 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy.  I am an English teacher an at alternative center in Holton, KS. I graduated from Washburn University in 2010 with an Elementary Education Degree and an emphasis in Middle School English.
I have several levels of experience with technology.  On a regular basis I use a computer, cell phone, kindle, Ipad, Ipod, Wii, and many other technologies.  I use my kindle for reading only and my Ipad for games and surfing the internet.  We also use it to watch movies when we have a conflict with who wants to watch what on the television.  I use my Ipod when I want to listen to music while I am running, my girls also use it for games. I am both a Mac and PC person.  At work I only us a Mac, however at home I am strictly PC. In the classroom we use all computers, since we are at the alternative center.  We also you Ipods, copy machines, printers, television, and dvd players. I am using Microsoft Office 2003 at home.
The reason for pursuing my Master's at PSC would be because I have heard some great things about the college and teachers.  I wanted a program that offered online courses since I work full time and have 3 children. I am hoping with my degree, that more opportunities will open.  I currently work an hour from home and would eventually like to find a position closer to home.
